2 Months Old

I have absolutely loved every stage Ayla has been through so far! She has such a personality and I love it! Although I do miss her little little stage, it is just so fun to watch her grow. I'm excited for her to start rolling around and being more interactive. She

Accomplishments/Mile Stones

* Ayla can hold her head up all by herself. When we pick her up she for the most part keeps her head straight with her body. We have been practicing her neck muscles in the bumbo she recently got from Staci. It is awesome! She isn't in love with it yet however it's only been a couple days so I have no doubt that it will be a highlight!
* She isn't too keen on laying flat on her back so she sleeps in her swing... which she loves!
* She can roll from side to side .. we are still working on rolling completely over from front to back or back to front :)
* She has found her hands and loves to put them in her mouth. She occasionally sucks her thumb which is so so cute
* She is in the beginning stages of laughing. She can't actually laugh yet but when she get's excited she waves her hands & arms around and breaths really heavy.. kinda like a hyperventilating thing is the only way to describe it but that doesn't even really make sense. She is just too cute!

* She smiles at Zac & I when we are playing with her.. She also will smile back at us when we smile first. Cutest thing ever. Because she has been mimicking our facial expressions, we have sticking out tongue wars.. too funny!
* She is such a serious baby which is actually kinda cute :). I was really serious when I was little so maybe she will be like her mommy!
* She loves to look around at lights & patterns. She is very curious and especially likes the feel of Daisy!
